BUGS & BUTTERFLIES

Description:  What is that bug, and does it bite? This class will introduce families to the wonderful world of bugs and butterflies found throughout Pinellas County. Both classroom and outdoor activities are included. Dress appropriately for being outdoors. Recommended for families. Free program.

Description:  The city of Clearwater’s Planning and Development Department is hosting Pop-Up North Marina: A Community Streets Experiment and Festival to study techniques to improve the overall experience for pedestrians, bicyclists and drivers on four existing streets in the North Marina area, which is just north of Downtown Clearwater.

Description:  The Suncoast Herpetological Society is a non-profit, educational, and recreational club for people interested in reptiles and amphibians. The Suncoast Herpetological Society provides educational talks to Pinellas County residents as well as the surrounding counties and communities. Each month a speaker discusses a herpetological topic at the meeting, and he or she goes into the community giving talks at libraries, schools and environmental education centers.
