PAVA Statement of Purpose:
The Professional Association of Visual Artists has as its purpose the establishment of the highest proessional standards in the visual arts.
 It strives to create opportunities for the professional and emerging artist, to provide its membership with an avenue for interaction among colleagues, to serve as a collective voice for its members, to broaden the public understanding of visual arts and to encourage recognition and support of visual arts in the community.
