Clearwater Air Park
The
Clearwater Air Park (KCLW) is located at 1000 North Hercules (27-58-36.071N,
082-45-31.465W) with an elevation of 71 feet. Landings are allowed from
7 AM to 9 PM and take-offs are allowed from 7 AM to one hour after official
sunset. The FBO terminal is open seven days a weeks from 7am to 9 pm.
Runway 16/34 is a 3500 ft long, 75 ft wide asphalt surface with a 30 foot
wide parallel taxiway. All surfaces were recently recoated with "Grip
Flex" and visibility is outstanding. The airpark daily operation
is leased to a Fixed Base Operator. The current FBO is Clearwater Aircraft,
Inc. and further information can be found in their

A convenient tool for reviewing aviation activity in the area is available
on the St. Petersburg –
Clearwater International Airport Web site. The Airport
Flight Monitor link will take you to an interactive page showing flights
within an 80-mile radius of the Airport. (A 10-minute delay is built in
for security purposes). Anyone can review the current activity or check
archive back several months.
