Greenhouse Gas Emissions (GHGs)

Any gas that is capable of absorbing heat energy from the earth's surface and readmitting that heat back to the earth’s surface, creating a “greenhouse effect”. The most common greenhouse gases include carbon dioxide, methane, nitrous oxide, and fluorinated gases.
