University of South Florida is situated in the vibrant and diverse Tampa Bay region, with campuses in Tampa, St. Petersburg and Sarasota-Manatee. Together these campuses serve more than 50,000 students and offer undergraduate, graduate, specialist and doctoral degrees from over 180 majors and concentrations. USF is one of the largest universities in the nation and a growing powerhouse for research, rating in the top 50 for federal research expenditures. St. Petersburg College works closely with the business community and continually updates industry-focused programs. The school's enrollment tops 44,000, and it awards more than 5,000 Bachelors and Associates degrees annually. Its Associate Degree in Engineering Technology was the first in Florida and serves as a national model.

Nova Southeastern University’s Tampa Bay Regional Campus opened its Clearwater medical school campus during the fall semester 2019. The new campus features a 311,000 -square-foot, state-of-the-art facility with new labs, collaboration spaces, advanced simulations, and operating rooms giving students a hands-on advantage.

 

NSU

The Clearwater regional campus includes additional locations for NSU’s Dr. Pallavi Patel College of Health Care Sciences, the Dr. Kiran C. Patel College of Osteopathic Medicine and the Ron and Kathy Assaf College of Nursing. The campus is home to approximately 2,000 students enrolled in programs that include, but are not limited to: occupational and physical therapy; clinical mental health counseling; nursing; osteopathic medicine; and school psychology.

Eckerd

Eckerd College is a private liberals arts and sciences college with 1,900 students and more than 40 majors.

Stetson

Stetson University College of Law has more than 850 students and is ranked #1 in trial advocacy and #3 in legal writing by U.S. News & World Report. Founded in 1900 as Florida's first law school, Stetson has prepared students to become highly skilled, ethical lawyers and leaders.

University of Tampa is a private university with 9,600 students offering more than 200 academic programs and approximately 2,300 degrees are confirmed annually.

Saint Leo University is consistently ranked as one of the top universities in the South, according to U.S. News & World Report's "America's Best Colleges" list. St. Leo’s campus—located 30 miles north of Tampa—educates more than 2,400 students each year. Total enrollment across their Central Florida campus,16 regional locations, and online programs is nearly 18,200 each year. Saint Leo offers over 50 undergraduate degrees, programs and endorsements as well as master's, doctoral and certificate programs in the College of Arts & Sciences, College of Business College of Education & Social Services, and College of Health Professions.

PTC

Pinellas Technical College offers students first-rate career and technical education in over 40 exciting career areas and about 60 programs to nearly 5,000 full-time students. Pinellas Technical College also offers continuing education courses and commercial training services through its Industry Services Department.
