Station 44 Completed in Oct. 2002, this two-story fire station serves the Sand Key area, which includes a year round residential community, restaurants, and a wide variety of specialty shops, high-rise hotels, and condominiums.
Station 49 Opened in December 2003, this fire station facility provides needed coverage to a large response area, bordering Largo Fire Rescue to the South and the City of Tampa to the East. The station is equipped with one ALS (Advanced Life Support) engine company, one ALS rescue unit and a marine unit.
