What We Do

The mission of the Clearwater Police Department is to consistently provide effective, professional and dependable law enforcement services to every citizen, visitor and business within the city of Clearwater.

Clearwater officers embrace a “preservation-of-all-life” philosophy and practice a community policing approach that is customer-service centric. Clearwater officers make our community better by preventing crime and effectively responding to crime. Office of Professional Standards
Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.; voice mail messages may be left 24 hours. Includes internal affairs, accreditation, and staff inspections; receives and investigates questions and complaints about police employees and operations; conducts internal inspections and reviews to insure compliance with laws and standards.

Records Section
Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4p.m. For copies of accident, crime, and incident reports, records checks, solicitor permits, and police activity reports.
