Councilmember Ryan Cotton is a second-generation Clearwater native. He was the first graduating class from Calvary Christian at the then new Drew Street Campus in 2006. His connection to Clearwater runs deep, as his children represent the fifth generation of their family calling Clearwater home.
For the past 15 years, he has served the community as a captain/paramedic with the Lealman Fire District.
Cotton’s wife, Jennifer, is in education and is also a fourth-generation Clearwater native. They have two children. The family enjoys all that Clearwater has to offer from the beach, to fishing, golfing, pickleball, and relaxing with the family.
