Renovated in 2010, this single-story fire station facility provides response coverage to residential, industrial, and a wide variety of commercial structures along with the City airport park complex.

The station is equipped with one ALS (Advanced Life Support) engine company, one ALS rescue unit, one aerial truck company, and one district commander.

Station 48 is also home to the department's 9-week recruit training program.
