"The Giving Wall” Plaque Program at Crest Lake Park

The Giving Wall Honoring Our Bright & Beautiful Citizens is located at Crest Lake Park, 201 S Glenwood Ave., and offers residents the opportunity to contribute to the enhancement of the parks and programming of recreation facilities. Donations can be directed toward park benches, trees, picnic tables, playground equipment, recreation programs, recreation centers, athletic field equipment, or simply given in honor or memory of an individual. In recognition of these generous contributions, donors will receive a plaque on The Giving Wall.
“Residents consistently ask if they can donate a bench, name an amenity after someone or buy a paver in honor of a passed loved one. This program is the answer to their requests,” said Parks & Recreation Director Art Kader. “By offering a donation to a single fund, we can ensure that amenities and programs are being distributed equitably among community parks and recreation centers.”
The donation levels are:
- Bronze: $250
- Silver: $500
- Gold: $750
- Onyx: $1,000
The plaques can be personalized to honor residents, people, pets or places that hold significance.
