The Clearwater Arts Alliance is excited to announce the opening of Inspiration in the City, a special exhibition honoring the artists who have shaped Clearwater’s public art landscape. The exhibition will open with a reception on Tuesday, October 8th, from 6-8pm at the Clearwater Main Library.

Inspiration in the City showcases a variety of works from artists who have left their mark on Clearwater through public art installations. From murals to sculptures to art-wrapped signal boxes, these artists have played a key role in enhancing the beauty and cultural vibrancy of the city, making it a more creative and engaging place to live and visit. Featured artists include: Elizabeth Barenis, Nathan Beard, Adi Ben Dov, Tim Boatright, Edgar Islas Cruz, Donald Gialanella, Don Gillespie, Francisco Gonzalez, Michael Imperiale, Cecilia Lueza, Ray Paul, Carlos Pons, Elisabeth Smith, Taylor Smith, and Valorie Vogel, whose contributions reflect the diverse talents and visions that have helped shape Clearwater’s public spaces.

The Clearwater Arts Alliance has long championed the value of public art as a way to connect people with their surroundings and with each other. This exhibition serves as a testament to the power of art in building community and transforming everyday spaces into sources of inspiration.

The exhibition will run through January 8, 2025. For more information, please visit www.ClearwaterArtsAlliance.org or call 727.351.2018.
