With 19 acres of green spaces, serene water features and breathtaking views of the Intracoastal Waterway, Coachman Park offers the perfect setting to host your dream wedding ceremony, renewal of vows or elopement.
Venue Options
You can rent one area or multiple for your event based on cost and availability.
Upper Plaza
The grand entrance to Coachman Park, the Civic Gateway, provides a stunning backdrop for your ceremony or reception. With cascading waterfalls, shaded seating areas, and views of the entire park and Memorial Causeway Bridge, this space creates a peaceful and elegant atmosphere for your guests to enjoy. This site can host 100 attendees.
The Lake
Featuring two fountains and a charming pedestrian bridge, The Lake at Coachman Park is a picturesque location for photos or even a small lakeside elopement. This venue hosts two options for smaller ceremonies. The Lake Bridge can host 5-10 guests. The Lake View area can host 30 people.
Bay Walk Promenade
Perfect for a sunset wedding, the Bay Walk Promenade and Promenade Pier offers stunning views of Clearwater’s Intracoastal Waterway. This wide pedestrian area, flanked by towering palm trees and artistic displays, can serve as a scenic location for your wedding ceremony. The steps along the promenade provide a romantic spot for guests to relax and enjoy a Florida sunset as you celebrate.
Promenade Pier
The Promenade Pier is the ideal location for an intimate ceremony along the gorgeous waters of the Gulf of Mexico.
If your permit is accepted....
If your permit is accepted, a permit will be issued once verification of availability is completed and fees are paid. All fees should be paid within one (1) week of staff verification.
On the day-of, remember:
- Portable furniture and chairs are allowed at park sites.
- Dispose of any trash and decorations.
- Get written approval from the Parks & Recreation Department if a commercial group uses city property to promote their products, business, etc.
- Get written consent from the Parks & Recreation Department for amplified sound.
